Overdue pictures, from our 'new' homes. Giggling and snapping photos between posing trying to avoid bizarre stares from shoppers is never dull when you're with one of your best friends.

A lazy Saturday and less-than-stellar dinner date meant cramming all sorts of sugar-coma inducing grub (also known as dessert) into my growing lumpy tummy was mandatory. One granola-topped frozen yogurt and nutella ice cream float later we found ourselves prancing around the local supermarket peering at cheese, cereal and abalone. Fun times.

School tomorrow and I'm feeling the blues already. That said, I guess I better get started on my tutorials instead of looking at cute DIY ideas such as this one.

Diorama.

Long overdue, here's a scan from the last Frankie magazine I purchased. The cutest DIY featuring a diorama, I figured with a personal touch and a couple of well-placed hearts it would make a great Valentine's Day present. Time to get crafty.

And while you're at it why not bake a couple of hugs and kisses to go along! So cute, really.

Books.. Actually.

Paid another visit to my favourite bookstore BooksActually/Polymath and Crust a couple of weeks back. What was previously 2 separate stores (1 focusing on fiction and the other on non-fiction) is now a perfect amalgamation of both. I always enter in anticipation and leave feeling extraordinarily inspired.. It's hard to imagine many places doing that to you but I assure you this place definitely that got that power down pat.

I'm still in the midst of trying to figure out my new Sigma camera so my pictures aren't exactly the best. Rather fuzzy in my opinion. Oh well, will fix that soon, I promise!
